Arenas are available for use all year round. In winter, the ice surfaces are used for skating, hockey and ringette. Pete Palangio Arena maintains its ice surface during July and August, as well, for summer ice rentals. In the summer, the arena floors become available for craft shows, trade shows, concerts, fundraising events and team sports. In effort to make scheduled events in these arenas a success, a variety of services are available in association with the use of these facilities.

Driving Instructions and Map
This office responds to inquiries about arena meeting rooms and ice rental inquiries for all arena facilities. All bookings and payments must be made during regular business hours or may be dropped into the after hours mail slot located under the front counter of the business office.
After hours mail slots are available at Pete Palangio for payments, signed contract returns, ice time requests/turnbacks. Items received through the after hours mail slot will be processed on the next business day.

West Ferris Auditorium
This is the perfect place for your next family wedding, anniversary, or retirement party. The facility offers the flexibility of hiring your own caterer and running your own bar (licenced through a special occasion permit*). This room seats 150+ for dinner. Amenities include: stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, tables, chairs.
About the Gardens

This City owned and operated facility, features ample parking with 1000 spaces, convenient loading areas, one being Tractor Trailer or Coach Bus accessible. The facility has a seating capacity of 3523 people for an ice event with an additional 380 more standing. Stage shows can accommodate 3903 people seating. Exhibition floor area is 21,900 sq. ft. divided into three excellent display areas, with the main area measuring 17,100 sq. ft. 50 years young, built in 1955.
Hockey and Ice Events
We are the proud home of The North Bay Skyhawks NOJHL Hockey Team. As a multi use facility, Memorial Gardens has held such ice events as Make It A Date To Skate, Celebrations On Ice, Dudley Hewitt Cup. Visit the official North Bay Skyhawks web site for game schedules, player info, and much more.

North Bay Sports Hall of Fame
Located at the north end of Memorial Gardens, the Hall of Fame is open to the public free of charge. Note: restricted access will occur during gated events. Photos, biographies and sports memorabilia are available for viewing.
